Snyder Optioned to Herd
Snyder, 25, spent all of last season with the Bisons. He hit .263 with 10 home runs and 35RBI in 86 games before having his season come to an end because of a broken right thumb. Snyder was also a perfect 12-12 stealing bases, the only player in the Bisons Modern Era to have a perfect season on the bases (minimum 10 attempts).
Among those reassigned to minor league camp, Aaron Herr was an International League All-Star with Louisville in 2007 after hitting .274 with 19 home runs and 83RBI with the Bats. Danny Sandoval spent last season with Ottawa and won the International League Batting Championship in 2005 with a .331 average while with Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. RHP Jeff Harris was named the Bisons Most Inspirational Player in 2007 after going 6-9 with a 4.68ERA in 27 games.
