Sounds, MiLB Charities partner
Items on the tree include Sounds' hats, card sets, bobbleheads and ticket packages, a baseball bat and baseball autographed by the 2012 Nashville club, a player-worn Sounds' jersey, a 10-person skybox for a Nashville game next season and a supply of Rawlings Sporting Goods equipment suitable for a youth or amateur team.
Bids can be placed on the tree online at www.halloftrees.com or at Gaylord Opryland in the Hall of Trees, located in Holly Jolly Town Square, in the Ryman B Exhibit Hall. The auction runs until 5 p.m. CST on Dec. 24. Proceeds from the sale of the tree will benefit MiLB™ Charities and the Nashville Sounds Foundation.
"We are always looking at ways where we can work with our leagues and clubs on initiatives that will benefit their communities," said assistant director of business development, Jill Dedene, who manages the day-to-day operations of Minor League Baseball Charities. "The tie-in with our annual convention being held at Gaylord Opryland in Nashville will enable baseball executives and attendees of the Baseball Winter Meetings the opportunity to view the auction items on-site and participate in this charitable endeavor."

"As the Baseball Winter Meetings will be held in Nashville next week, we are excited to have Minor League Baseball partner with us in this Music City holiday tradition. The baseball-themed holiday tree will benefit the community throughout the work of MiLB Charities and the Nashville Sounds Foundation."

About Nashville Sounds Foundation
The Nashville Sounds Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that primarily directs support to disadvantaged youth, development and educational programs, youth baseball programs, and medical research organizations. Preference is given to organizations and requests that address one or more of these areas of focus.
The Foundation is funded through monetary donations from Sounds operations, private donations, grant organizations, memorabilia auctions and in-game custom public address announcements.
The Foundation is heavily funded by sponsors and fan participation related to our Reading Club, which reaches more than 87,000 children in more than 300 schools in the Middle Tennessee and Southern Kentucky region.
