Suns announce top 2012 promotions

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Hagerstown Suns, Single-A affiliate of the Washington Nationals, are excited to announce the top promotions for the 2012 season. Fireworks, giveaways and theme nights will return, and new contests, drawings and events will add to the fun, family-friendly environment at Municipal Stadium.

Day-of-the-Week promotions, including Thirsty Thursdays, Fireworks Fridays, Saturday Giveaways and Sunday Fundays, will be held every time the Suns have a home game on that day of the week. Thirsty Thursdays will feature drink specials, and after every Friday home game, the Suns will display a fireworks show. Saturday Giveaways are distributed to the first 1,000 fans through the gate each Saturday, and on Sunday Fundays, all children will be able to run the bases following the game.

July 21: Pink Suns Foam Finger - presented by Lehigh Phoenix and Associated Radiologists
August 4: Bryce Harper Garden Gnome - presented by Beaver Creek Antiques and Guy Property Management
August 25: Bryce Harper Replica Jersey - presented by Antrim Way Honda
September 1: Grab Bag Items

The Suns will wear specialty jerseys twice this season, June 22-24 for Civil War Weekend and July 20-21 for Pink Weekend presented by Lehigh Phoenix Associated Radiologists. Fans will be able to win Civil War Weekend game-worn jerseys through a raffle, and game-worn Pink Weekend jerseys will be available through an auction.

The Washington Nationals' NatMobile will be in Hagerstown on April 5 (Opening Night), May 31, June 22, July 26 and August 24.This interactive rig includes game highlights, video games and giveaways along with information about all things that are Nats-related.

A special announcement regarding an exclusive event will be released in the coming weeks.
