Tampa Yankees 2008 Season Promotions
On Mondays, the Tampa Yankees and America's Second Harvest of Tampa Bay have teamed up so that if fans donate one canned food item they will receive $1 admission to the game.
On Tuesdays, fans can find a 2-for-1admission coupon in the local Centro Tampa newspaper.

The Tampa Yankees and the Tampa Tribune have joined forces once again this year to give fans a special discount on Thursdays. On Thursdays, pick up your local Tampa Tribune and you will find a coupon for $1 general admission to the game that night.
If you love Happy Hour we've got the deal of the week on Fridays. Beer and Pepsi will be sold for $1 from 5:30 until 8:00p.m.every Friday night excluding sponsored nights.
Sunday's are Family Day. Get a Family 4 Pack (4 tickets, 4 Hotdogs, 4 Chips, and 4 sodas) for as little as $24 (a $40 value). Kids 15 and under are invited to run the bases after the game (weather permitting). In addition for those hot Sunday afternoon games, quench your thirst with unlimited free refills when you purchase a Yankees souvenir cup.
We also have nightly discounts for Students, seniors and Military Personnel. Just present your ID to the ticket office and you will receive a $1 discount on admission.
Our promotional days at George M. Steinbrenner Field are as follows:
On April 19, the first 250 fans 21 and older will receive a free Bud Light Koozie.
Throughout the season the Yankees have 15 promotional nights scheduled for our Yankees Collector's Series Giveaway Cards. For every month of the season, there will be three different cards given away. We have already given away Melky Cabrera and Robinson Cano cards. Other dates for this giveaway are: 4/23, 5/4, 5/13, 5/20, 6/3, 6/6, 6/17, 7/7, 7/20, 7/22, 8/6, 8/15 and 8/25. So come out to the ballpark to collect all 15 of your favorite New York Yankees.
The Tampa Yankees have planned three school days. The school day games start at 11:00a.m. and they are scheduled for April 24, May 6 and May 21. Our school days give children a wonderful memory during a long school year. We also have a Camp Day on July 10. The game starts at 12:00p.m against the St. Lucie Mets.
For our little leaguers, we have Pepsi Little League Day. On April 26, the first 250 fans receive a free Pepsi Pin. Free admission will be granted to coaches and players who are dressed in uniform.
On May 5 spend your Cinco de Mayo with the Tampa Yankees and receive a New York Yankees hat. The first 250 fans will receive the classic navy blue hat with the famous New York Yankee interlocking NY on it.
The Tampa Yankees will show their support for the brave women whom are fighting Breast Cancer. On May 12, we will be giving away a pink Breast Cancer Clip to the first 250 fans who are in attendance.
If you are a baseball card collector then you will want to be at the game on June 4 and August 5 when the first 250 fans will receive a Tampa Yankee Team Card Set. On June 4 we will be giving away the 2007 Tampa Yankees Team Card Set which includes Major Leaguers Ian Kennedy and Joba Chamberlain. On August 5 we will be giving away the 2008 Team Card Set, which will include our current roster.
Coming back for 2008 by popular demand will be our Bark in the Park. On June 7 bring your dogs out for a night at the ballpark. The Tampa Yankees are glad to welcome back this popular event that saw a great turnout last season. There are going to be fun contests for owners and their canines to participate in. All ticket sales will benefit the Humane Society, which will help them raise money for local animal shelters.
From June 23-25, the Tampa Yankees will have three promotional giveaways. On June 23, the first 250 fans will receive a replica Yankee ring. On June 24, we will give away a Mickey Mantle Bronze Statue to the first 250 fans and on June 25 we will help commemorate Old Timer's Day by giving away Yankee Old Timer's Day pins to the first 250 fans.
Fourth of July Fireworks!! Our Fourth of July game against the Sarasota Reds will have the best grand finale in Tampa. After the game, we will complete the July 4th celebration with a set of fireworks presented by Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Westshore Pizza and the Tampa Tribune. You can find no better seat in Tampa than the one at George M. Steinbrenner Field, so come join us in celebrating our nation's birthday.
Are you a fan of the famous American Girl Readers Collection? Then come out and see the Tampa Yankees vs. the St. Lucie Mets on July 8 and the first 250 fans will receive a free American Girl Yankees Outfit.
At the end of July we will also have giveaways such as: Hess Key Chains (7/21), Yankee Night Lights (7/23) and Yankee Water Bottles (7/25). So get to the ballpark early because only the first 250 fans receive these great giveaways.
In August we have three giveaways that will make going back to school even better: Hideki Matsui Folders (8/3), Yankee Lunchboxes (8/20), and New York Yankees T-Shirts (8/22).
The Yankees and our friends at Red Baron Pizza have joined together to bring our fans the Red Baron Pizza plush car on August 16. Bring your kids out to the game to receive this great souvenir.
On August 23, the Tampa Yankees will have Fan Appreciation Night. We will be having a giveaway every inning to show our fans just how much we appreciate their support throughout the season.
The Tampa Yankees and our corporate sponsors have put together seven sponsored nights in which you can gain free admission just by stopping in at their offices. If you like to play games on the field, the Tampa Yankees also have more in-game activities this season. Returning this season are our dizzy bat race, ice-cream scoop race and Yankee Trivia but making their debut this season is our Chipping Contest. Take your chances with a golf club and win a great prize. We also have our Tropical Strikeout and Swing for Wings contests and not to mention our always popular Press Box Fan of the Game and Dirtiest Car prize.
