Three Strikes (2:30)

• Tyler and Sam start out the latest episode of the podcast by discussing the Astros' decision to go with Tyler White over A.J. Reed and Jon Singleton at first base and the Nationals' move to send Trea Turner back to Triple-A Syracuse rather than let him start the season in the Majors.
• The guys pivot to pitching for the Strike Two to discuss injuries, in particular, as Marlins top prospect Tyler Kolek (elbow) and Cardinals No. 3 prospect Luke Weaver (left wrist fracture) both hit the shelf this week.
• For the final bit of the opening segment, Tyler opines on his story about Italy native and Royals shortstop prospect Marten Gasparini ahead of his potential full-season debut this season.

• Phillies No. 2 prospect Jake Thompson calls into the podcast from his first Spring Training with Philadelphia to discuss what it was like being traded for a second time, how this group of Phillies prospects has already come together well as part of the organization's rebuild and where he sides on the Wit or Witout debate for the upcoming Lehigh Valley Cheesesteaks promotion.
