Tide Rolls in to Regions Park
The two SEC Universities scheduled the game since they will not meet during conference play. This is the first game of a two-game contract that will see the Universities meet again in 2011 in Gwinnett, Ga. It will not count in the SEC standings.
All seats for the Alabama-Georgia game are general admission and tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $8 for youth (13 and under). Also, UA students and faculty staff can purchase tickets for $5 each. Tickets for this year's game are on sale now through the Alabama Athletic Ticket Office by calling 1-877-TIDETIX or 205.348.2262. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.RollTide.com.
Tickets can also be purchased at the Joe Drake Ticket Office at Regions Park when the gates open at 5:05 PM on the day of the game. First pitch for the contest is set for 6:35 PM.
Season tickets for the 2010 season are also available through the Alabama Athletic Ticket Office. The Crimson Tide opens the 2010 season on Saturday, Feb. 20 against the South Alabama Jaguars at 2:05 p.m. at Sewell-Thomas Stadium.
The University of Alabama will return to Regions Park on Wednesday, March 31 to take on the University of Alabama Birmingham Blazers. More information on that game will be made available in the coming weeks.
The Barons will open the 2010 season when the Carolina Mudcats, Class AA affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, visit Regions Park on April 8, 2010. First pitch is set for 7:05 pm.
