February 7, 2012
The Norfolk Tides announced today that the Baltimore Orioles will play an exhibition game at Harbor Park on Wednesday, April 4. The game will feature the Orioles taking on the Tides, with first pitch scheduled for 3:00 pm.

"We cannot wait for the Orioles to return to Harbor Park again this spring" said Tides president Ken Young. "This promises to be an exciting event for the area, and is yet another example of the dedication the Orioles have to the Tides organization and the Hampton Roads community."

"The Orioles are looking forward to completing our spring training season in Norfolk," said Orioles Executive Vice President of Baseball Operations Dan Duquette. "We know there is a strong contingent of Orioles fans in the Hampton Roads area and we are pleased to have the opportunity to visit and play our final exhibition game at Harbor Park on April 4."

Tickets for the event will go on sale March 10 at 10:00 am, with box seats available for $22 and reserved seats available for $18. Fans will be able to purchase tickets online via norfolktides.com or in person at the Harbor Park box office.

This will be Baltimore's third appearance at Harbor Park since the Tides became their Triple-A affiliate in 2007. Harbor Park hosted exhibition games between the Orioles and Washington Nationals in 2007 and 2009.

The Tides open their 2012 regular season on April 5 with a four-game series in Charlotte before opening the home portion of their schedule on Monday, April 9 vs. the Gwinnett Braves.
