Tides win Tuesday

Matt Wieters went 4-for-4 with four RBI to lead the Tides to a 9-5 win over Toledo Tuesday night.

Wieters doubled, singled three times and drew a walk to pace the Tides 15-hit attack. Brandon Pinckney also added a home run off of Jeremy Bonderman to help the Tides pick up their second win to start their eight-game road trip.

Ross Wolf (2-1) earned the win for the Tides, pitching two scoreless innings of relief. Tides pitchers struck out 16 batters in the contest.

Justin Turner had three hits and a double to help power Norfolk's offense, while Jeff Fioretino had two hits, including a triple and two RBI.

The Tides and Mud Hens will continue their four-game series on Wednesday, with first pitch slated for 10:30 am.
