Tigers to Host 2013 NYPL All-Star Game

NORWICH-The Connecticut Tigers, in conjunction with the New York-Penn League, are proud to announce that the Tigers will host the 2013 New York-Penn League All-Star Game on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Dodd Stadium in Norwich. There will be plenty of all-star festivities that will be announced over the course of the off-season leading into the 2013 calendar year.

"We're thrilled and honored to bring the New York-Penn League All-Star Game to Norwich in our fourth season at Dodd," said Connecticut Tigers Vice President/General Manager C.J. Knudsen. "It will be a fantastic event for fans of baseball in Connecticut!"

The Connecticut Tigers are the Class-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The Tigers saw a 23% increase in attendance in 2011, (the 4th highest in Minor League Baseball), and are in their 3rd season at Dodd Stadium. Tickets are now on sale!
