ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. -- The Umpire School™ (TUS) announced Wednesday that it has been named the "Preferred Umpire School" of Umpire-Empire.com, a leading online resource for umpires and the umpiring profession. As part of a comprehensive relationship, TUS instructors will participate in blogs, forums and video chats on Umpire-Empire.com and be made available for offseason camps or clinics. Umpire-Empire.com will create a discussion forum dedicated solely to TUS on its site.

TUS and Umpire-Empire.com see the association as mutually beneficial to both parties.

"We look forward to growing our relationship with the umpiring community and this partnership with Umpire-Empire.com is an enormous step towards that goal," TUS Executive Director Justin Klemm said. "Our approach will be constructive and educational in nature and we look forward to being one of the many resources that Umpire-Empire offers to its members."

"Umpire-Empire.com is proud to have The Umpire School as our preferred umpire school," Umpire-Empire Owner Warren Workman said. "We believe this relationship will benefit not only the members of Umpire-Empire.com, but the amateur baseball umpiring community as a whole. We are thrilled that Umpire-Empire.com can be a part of The Umpire School's efforts to reach out to and engage with amateur umpires and look forward to working together with The Umpire School to build a long-lasting relationship."
