Slade Heathcott, the New York No. 5 prospect, opened the game with a home run and finished with four hits while fellow Yankees farmhand David Adams scored three runs as Scottsdale kept its slim division hopes alive. Twins prospect Nate Roberts, who leads the AFL with a .474 batting average, was 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBIs to help keep the Javelinas in first place in the West Division.
