As part of the most multi-hued promotion of the season, the RiverDogs put up gaudy decorations, set up art stations and offered kaleidoscopic concession items such as tie-dye grilled cheese. The RoughRiders' Dude Perfect Night resulted in a franchise-record attendance of 12,067. American Sign Language was incorporated into every aspect of 'Deaf Awareness Night,' including the script on the Pelicans jerseys. Highlights included a pregame clinic conducted by former Major League outfielder Curtis Pride (who was born deaf), a sign language version of the National Anthem performed by Jason Hurdich and a 'silent inning' during the game.
