The RoughRiders' Dude Perfect Night resulted in a franchise-record attendance of 12,067. Players took the field in custom Dude Perfect jerseys, while the dudes themselves threw out first pitches, mingled with fans and performed on the field. American Sign Language was incorporated into every aspect of 'Deaf Awareness Night,' including the script on the Pelicans jerseys. Highlights included a pregame clinic conducted by former Major League outfielder Curtis Pride (who was born deaf), a sign language version of the National Anthem performed by Jason Hurdich and a 'silent inning' during the game. Dozens of teams staged 'The Sandlot' promotions this season, but the Potomac Nationals went the extra mile. Referencing iconic scenes from the film, the team set up a Babe Ruth forgery station and allowed fans in search of home run balls to enter the Beast's Backyard. More »

The Albuquerque Isotopes, one of 33 teams to participate in Minor League Baseball's Copa de la Diversión program, played four games as the 'Mariachis de Nuevo México.'
