FORT MYERS, Fla. (May 19, 2017ATTENTION KIDS… We heard your demands! The Fort Myers Miracle, Advanced-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins, are pleased to announce that Miracle fidget spinners presented by CenturyLink will be given away on Thursday, June 15 when the team takes on the Charlotte Stone Crabs, Advanced-A affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. Gates open at 6:00pm with first pitch at 7:05pm.
Fidget spinners were originally designed to relieve stress and used mostly by children with autism or attention disorders to help them focus. This spring, the toy became widely popular among both children and adults. Fidget spinners have also made their way into schools across the nation.
"Nothing embodies fun more than fidget spinners and the Fort Myers Miracle," states Miracle General Manager Andrew Seymour. "Do not miss out on the fun and make sure be one of the first 500 kids to get to Hammond Stadium. It should be a great night, and we'll see you at the ballpark."
The latest craze has everyone rushing to get their hands on this stress-relieving toy. Fidget spinners consist of a two or three-pronged design attached to a central core bearing. Simply squeeze the center, give the blades a flick and watch them spin. These entertaining gadgets can typically be found at convenience stores as opposed to major toy retailers, but lately fidget spinners are in such high demand that stores are struggling to keep them on the shelves.
Do not miss this opportunity to get your Miracle fidget spinner presented by CenturyLink on Thursday, June 15. Besides the first 500 kids 12 and under receiving a Miracle fidget spinner, the first 500 fans in the ballpark will get the first of two 2017 Miracle team photos. In addition, the Miracle players and staff will be in the concourse to sign autographs prior to the start of the game. It is also Thirsty Thursday at Hammond Stadium where all fans, 21 and over, can enjoy half price domestic draft beer and our third of six Bark in the Park nights. Bring your furry friend to the ballpark for free.
