FRISCO--The Missions snapped their July hitting slump with a 5-1 win over the Roughriders behind a 15-hit attack Wednesday night at Dr. Pepper Ballpark.

Noah Perio and Ty France both finished with three hits and five Mission hitters collected multiple hits in the contest.

Enyel De Los Santos worked seven innings for a second straight start to pick up his sixth win of the season. The righty fanned eight and dodged some early trouble.

San Antonio used five straight singles and a sacrifice fly to score three times in the third inning off Ariel Jurado.The Missions added a pair of runs in the sixth off the Frisco right-hander, who tied a season and career-high by allowing 11 hits over his six frames. 

The win put the Missions 17 games over .500 for the third time this season and they improved to 11-6 against Frisco. They've won seven of nine road games against the 'Riders.

San Antonio entered the night with the third worst Double-A batting average in July at .217. They were tied for the third fewest runs this month at the Double-A level with 28.

Perio had been 2-for-29 in July and France started the evening in a 7-for-65 slump. 

NOTES: RH reliever Chad Nading was released by the Padres. RH César Vargas re-joined the Missions from Triple-A El Paso. First baseman Josh Naylor made his Double-A debut for San Antonio and was 0-for-4. He is rated as the Padres 13th best prospect according to MLB.com
