Kingham goes the distance in Sunday's 9-2 win over Lookouts
PEARL, MS - Mississippi Braves' (30-39, 63-75) right-hander Nolan Kingham tossed the first complete game for the club since 2015 on Sunday in a 9-2 victory over the Chattanooga Lookouts (25-41, 61-74) at Trustmark Park. The win snapped a three-game skid.

Kingham's 96-pitch effort gives him a Minor League-best four nine-inning complete games this season. The 22-year-old from Las Vegas had three complete-game shutouts while pitching for the High-A Florida FireFrogs this season, which is also tops in all of MiLB. The last M-Brave to go the distance over nine innings was Jake Brigham on June 4, 2015 vs. Jackson (TN).

The M-Braves offense provided plenty of run support for Kingham and handed him a 2-0 lead after the first inning.

Kingham lost the shutout bid in the seventh inning when
Contreras netted his second-straight multi-hit game on Sunday and went 2-for-5 with two runs and an RBI. Lien extended his hitting streak to five games by going 1-for-4 with two runs and a walk. Kingham helped his cause at the plate by drawing four walks from Lookouts pitchers. The four free passes are the most by an M-Braves player this season, one shy of the overall club record.
