RHP Andres Santiago activated from Triple-A Gwinnett

PEARL, MS - On Monday, April 16 the Atlanta Braves activated Mississippi Braves C Sal Giardina from the Disabled List. In a corresponding move, INF Michael Snyder has been placed on the 7-Day Disabled List.

In seven games this season Snyder has batted .160 while batting in one run and notching one triple in 25 at bats

RHP Andres Santiago will also re-join the Mississippi Braves after being transferred back to Mississippi from Triple-A Gwinnett. During his time with the M-Braves in 2018, Santiago appeared in one game, which he started on April 13 against the Biloxi Shuckers. In his lone appearance with the M-Braves in 2018, Santiago pitched 3.0 innings, allowed one hit, one run, which was earned, walked one and struck out two Shuckers hitters. The 28-year old will leave the M-Braves and head to Gwinnett with an 0-0 win/loss record and a 3.00 ERA.
