PEARL, MS - On Sunday, April 15 the Atlanta Braves promoted Mississippi Braves RHP Andres Santiago to the Gwinnett Stripers (Triple-A Affiliate of the Atlanta Braves). During his time with the M-Braves in 2018, Santiago appeared in one game, which he started on April 13 against the Biloxi Shuckers.
In his lone appearance with the M-Braves in 2018, Santiago pitched 3.0 innings, allowed one hit, one run, which was earned, walked one and struck out two Shuckers hitters. The 28-year old will leave the M-Braves and head to Gwinnett with an 0-0 win/loss record and a 3.00 ERA.
