BIRMINGHAM, AL -- The Atlanta Braves have made the following roster move affecting the M-Braves roster prior to tonight's 7:05 pm game at Birmingham. INF Ray-Patrick Didder has been transferred to Mississippi from High-A Florida

Didder, 23, has played in 79 games this season for the High-A Florida Fire Frogs, batting .209 with three doubles, five triples, two home runs, 22 RBI eight hit by pitches and 18 stolen bases. The Oranjestad, Aruba native led the Fire Frogs in stolen bases and was tied for sixth in the Florida State League. 

Didder entered the 2017 season as the No. 27 prospect for the Atlanta Braves according to Baseball America and played the full season with High-A Florida, batting .230 (96-for-418) with a career-best 17 doubles and 44 RBI. He also swiped 25 bases on the season, which tied for third-most in the Atlanta farm system, while his 44 walks ranked eighth. Didder was also hit by 21 pitches on the season, which was tied for 10th-most in the minor leagues. He's been hit 68 times since the start of the 2016 season, second-most in the minors. In 2016, Didder led the Atlanta system and the South Atlantic League with 95 runs scored with Rome and also led the minors
with 39 hit by pitches.

The Atlanta Braves signed Didder as a non-drafted free agent in 2013. The Aruban is fluent in four languages: English, Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamentu.

The Mississippi Braves roster currently stands at 25 active players and three on the DL.
