BayBears game suspended, will resume in doubleheader Wednesday

Teams will play additional doubleheader Thursday to conclude series

MOBILE, Ala. (August 21, 2018) - The first game of Tuesday's doubleheader between the Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, and the Mississippi Braves was suspended in the top of the fifth inning due to heavy rain at Hank Aaron Stadium.The seven-inning game will be resumed

MOBILE, Ala. (August 21, 2018) - The first game of Tuesday's doubleheader between the Mobile BayBears, the Double-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, and the Mississippi Braves was suspended in the top of the fifth inning due to heavy rain at Hank Aaron Stadium.
The seven-inning game will be resumed Wednesday at 5:05 p.m. CDT, with the BayBears leading 4-3 and Mississippi batting with no outs in the top of the fifth. Wednesday's originally scheduled contest will be a seven-inning game, beginning approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the suspended game.
The series will wrap up with an additional doubleheader Thursday at 5:05 p.m. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. to all fans both nights.
