Erceg, 21, was recently named a Carolina League year-end All-Star and was batting .256/.309/.417 with a .724 OPS, a team high 15 home runs and a Carolina League high 81 RBIs at the time of his promotion to the Colorado Springs Sky Sox. The Campbell, CA native was a two time Carolina League Player of the Week Award winner in 2017 and finished his High-A run among the Carolina League leaders in doubles (33), extra-base hits (49), total bases (207) and games (127).
Meyer, 24, has played in two games with the Mudcats so far this season, with his most recent game played on August 6 versus Buies Creek. The Janesville, WI native has gone 1-for-5 with a run and a walk with Carolina this year and 1-for-6 with a run and two walks over six games with Helena earlier this season.
The Mudcats roster is currently at 25 active players with one on the disabled list.
