Three Mustangs Named to PL All-Star Team

SPOKANE, WA. The Pioneer Baseball League is pleased to announce the selection of its 2017 All-Star Team for play against the Northwest League's All-Star Team on Tuesday, August 1st at Ron Tonkin Field, Hillsboro, Oregon, 7:05 PST. 

PBL President McCurdy Statement

PBL President, Jim McCurdy, states, "These players are the best of the best. We are honored to have them represent the PBL in the third PBL-NWL All Star Game-a true classic."

Starting Lineup

The starting lineup for the 2017 PBL All-Star Team includes the following players:

C - Hendrik Clementina Ogden Raptors
1B - Robby Rinn Idaho Falls Chukars
2B - Shael Mendoza Grand Junction Rockies
SS - Ryan Vilade, Grand Junction Rockies
3B - Dallas Carroll, Helena Brewers
OF - Amalani Fukofuka, Idaho Falls Chukars
OF - Ryan Vega, Orem Owlz
OF - Starling Heredia, Ogden Raptors
DH - Luis Paz, Ogden Raptors
P - Elvin Rodriguez, Orem Owlz

The remaining roster spots are comprised of the following All-Stars:

C - Darrell Miller, Jr., Idaho Falls
C - Dominic Miroglio, Missoula
IF - Keshawn Lynch, Missoula
IF - Leonardo Rivas, Orem
IF - Anthony Villa, Great Falls
OF - Craig Dedelow, Great Falls
OF - Miles Gordon, Billings
P - Nelson Hernandez, Helena
P - Chris Rodriguez, Orem

Not included in the above lists, but also honored as All-Star selections, were pitcher Tyler Johnson (Great Falls) and first baseman Nick Yarnall (Ogden), who were recently promoted and not available for play.
