MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (March 8, 2019) - Honoring their era as a Braves affiliate (1999 through the 2010), the Myrtle Beach Pelicans will hold their second-annual Braves Weekend on Saturday, June 1 and Sunday, June 2. Saturday will feature an appearance by former Braves outfielder, Brian Jordan "TwoSportman", and Sunday will feature a Brian Snitker Pelicans jersey giveaway. Jordan, who was an All-Star with Atlanta in 1999 and played three seasons with the Atlanta Falcons in the NFL, will visit TicketReturn.Com Field at Pelicans Ballpark. Jordan will partake in a VIP Meet & Greet prior to the game and a one-hour autograph session with fans during the game.

Sunday's Brian Snitker jersey giveaway will be distributed to the first 1,000 fans through the gates courtesy of Circle K. Snitker, the 2018 MLB Manager of the Year with the Atlanta Braves, was the skipper for the Pelicans from 1999 to 2001. During his time in Myrtle Beach, Snitker guided the Birds to back-to-back Carolina League Championships in 1999 and 2000, while going 238-179 (.571) in his three seasons at the helm.

A limited amount of all-inclusive Braves Weekend packages are available now and are available for purchase here. For just $75, VIPs will receive a "Low-Tide" ticket to both games, a dinner voucher for each game, a wristband for the Meet & Greet and early entry each night. Package buyers must be present to receive the giveaway on Sunday.

Both games, against the Potomac Nationals on Saturday and the Wilmington BlueRocks on Sunday, will begin at 6:05 p.m. with gates opening at 5:00.
