First Horizon Foundation is donating $2.5 million in support of COVID-19 emergency relief efforts to nonprofit organizations throughout its footprint. The funding will be distributed to select organizations that provide meal, educational and emergency assistance relief in Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
Nashville Sounds + Feeding America
The Nashville Sounds joined in participation with Minor League Baseball's CommUNITY First initiative this spring to help raise funds for local Feeding America food banks while also honoring local heroes risking their lives on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Feeding America is the nation's largest organization dedicated to fighting domestic hunger through a network of food banks. The local Feeding America food bank the Sounds and its fans helped fundraise for Second Harvest Food Bank of Middle Tennessee.
In addition, for every $10 donated during the campaign by Nashville Sounds fan, the Sounds organization donated one ticket to a future 2020 or 2021 game to a local hero. The ticket donations will be made to heroes supporting Middle Tennessee such as local nonprofits, hospital staff, first responders, nursing home staff, grocery store employees, and many others.
In addition to the Nashville Sounds involvement with Feeding America as well as its Safe & Sounds at Home virtual campaign that aims to keep fans entertained at home during the COVID-19 pandemic, our partners also want fans to stay safe and healthy.

Vanderbilt Health is leading the front line treatment efforts while their research is also lending time, money, and efforts to developing treatment methods and vaccines.

Tito's is helping communities across the country in many ways, including committing $2 million in donations to organizations providing assistance to those affected by the pandemic, and creating a separate production line to make over 24 tons of hand sanitizer for healthcare agencies, first responders and non-profit partners.
Locally, Tito's is partnering with the Nashville Sounds to help support Nashville restaurants by buying meals from popular local eateries and delivering them to nearby medical professionals, first responders and others in need. Tito's also has donated to local animal non-profits such as Agape Animal Rescue, New Leash on Life, and Proverbs 1210 Animal Rescue to help cover food costs, veterinary services and other needs for those out of work.

Added floor decals and signage to promote safe physical distancing. Enhanced our daily sanitation practices, including increasing the frequency of cleaning commonly used areas such as cashier stations, self-checkouts, credit card terminals, food service counters and shelves.
Mars, Incorporated is making an initial cash and in-kind donation of $20M to support people, pets and communities most affected by COVID-19. In the U.S., Mars Petcare has donated over $2 million in pet food and grants to support shelters and rescue organizations across the country and keep pets in homes.

Tennessee Action for Hospitality, a statewide coalition of hospitality industry workers, has partnered with The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee (CFMT) to create "A Fund for Us," which will help provide relief to hospitality workers who have lost their job or seen a decrease in hours worked due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In late March, SmileDirectClub announced that it would dedicate much of its 3D printing facilities equipped with 60+ HP printers to manufacture thousands of medical-grade face shields and other PPE.
