Naturals Set Game Times for the 2014 Season

New Saturday Start Times, More Fireworks and Daily Promotions in Store

SPRINGDALE, AR- The Northwest Arkansas Naturals have set the game times for Season 7 of Naturals baseball at Arvest Ballpark. A printable PDF copy of the 2014 schedule along with game times is now available for fans on the Naturals' official website, www.nwanaturals.com.

Opening Night at Arvest Ballpark is slated for Thursday, April 10th with a 6:05 P.M. start against the Frisco RoughRiders (Texas Rangers), which begins a six game homestand. Unlike 2013, the Naturals will start the season on the road beginning on April 3rd with three (3) games against the aforementioned RoughRiders and then another three (3) against the Midland RockHounds. 

During the 2014 season, most Monday-Friday games will carry a standard 7:05 P.M. start time, with the exception of Opening Day (April 10th at 6:05 P.M.) , our SWEPCO School Kids Days (April 23rd, April 28th and May 6th at 11:05 A.M.), Summer Camp Day presented by Arkansas Children's Hospital (June 18th at 12:05 P.M.), Memorial Day and Labor Day (May 26th and September 1st at 1:05 P.M.) and then our two (2) Faith & Family Night games (May 9th and August 22nd at 7:35 P.M.) presented by Sam's Furniture during the summer. 

The Naturals will continue to play the Family Sunday games at Arvest Ballpark at 2:05 P.M. in April and most of May before shifting our game times to 6:05 P.M. beginning on May 25th for the remainder of the season and into the summer months. The lone exception being on Sunday, June 22nd when the game is slated for 2:05 P.M. start in advance of the All Star break.  

The biggest change in comparisons to previous years will occur on Saturdays when a 6:05 P.M. start time will be implemented on the majority of the dates. The only non-6:05 P.M. game times are on Saturday, May 3rd and Saturday, July 5th where we will begin play at 7:05 P.M. and on Saturday, July 26th where the game is scheduled to begin at 7:35 P.M. due to a TBA promotion.

Fourth of July will be a highlight of the Naturals' 2014 schedule, as the Naturals are home for July 3rd (Thursday), July 4th (Friday) and on July 5th (Saturday). Specific details of the activities for each night has yet to be released, but the Naturals will have a special post-game Fireworks Spectacular on ALL three (3) nights with the largest being on the Fourth of July. In addition, the Naturals are scheduled to be home for Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend with both weekends featuring a special Sunday Fireworks Spectacular before the Monday matinees.

Friday Naturals' games will continue to feature our most popular promotion, our post-game Fireworks Spectacular shows. The excitement continues on Saturday as those nights will feature either a special giveaway item, a Fireworks Spectacular, musical/entertainment act or a celebrity appearance. The Naturals also plan to return most of our popular nightly promotions from this past season including Family Sundays highlighted by Kids Eat FREE and kids run the bases, Monday Night Lights presented by Ozarks Electric Cooperative Corporation featuring Dollar Hot Dogs by Tyson Foods, Arvest Two for Tuesdays, and Buck Night on Thirsty Thursday. Specific details and a complete 2014 promotional calendar will be released after the first of the year.
