SPRINGDALE, Ark - For the first time in franchise history the Northwest Arkansas Naturals will clash with the Tulsa Drillers (Double-A Los Angeles Dodgers) in the Texas League Playoffs. Northwest Arkansas will host Game 1 on Wednesday, September 6 and Game 2 on Thursday, September 7 of the Best-of-5 Texas League

SPRINGDALE, Ark - For the first time in franchise history the Northwest Arkansas Naturals will clash with the Tulsa Drillers (Double-A Los Angeles Dodgers) in the Texas League Playoffs. Northwest Arkansas will host Game 1 on Wednesday, September 6 and Game 2 on Thursday, September 7 of the Best-of-5 Texas League North Divisional Series at Arvest Ballpark.
The Naturals, the First Half Texas League North Division Champions, will square off against the Drillers, the Second Half North Division Champions, in a best-of-5 series to determine the North Division representative in the Texas League Championship Series. In the Texas League South Divisional Series, it will be the San Antonio Missions (Double-A San Diego Padres), the winners of both the First Half and Second Half South Division Titles, and the Midland RockHounds (Double-A Oakland A's) as they go for their fourth consecutive Texas League Title. Each series will begin on Wednesday with a potential Game 5 slated for Sunday.
During the 2017 season, Northwest Arkansas got the better of Tulsa as they went 18-14 against them throughout the regular season. The Naturals went 7-8 against the Drillers at home while compiling an 11-6 record on the road at ONEOK Field.

Game 1 on Wednesday, September 6 is at 7:05 p.m. and will feature a Rally Towel Giveaway by Coca-Cola for the first 750 fans as well as Half-Price Alcoholic Beverages at the Craft Beer Bar from 5:45 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Game 2 on Thursday, September 7 is also at 7:05 p.m. and will feature the same special in the Craft Beer Bar from 5:45 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. to go along with Buck Night and Thirsty Thursday where fans can enjoy $1 Farm Rich Mozzarella Sticks and 12 oz. Coca-Cola drinks as well as $2 Peanuts and Pabst Blue Ribbon 16 oz. drafts on the concourse. Gates will open at 5:45 p.m. at Arvest Ballpark for both games.
Game 3 and Games 4-5, if needed, will be played at ONEOK Field in Tulsa Friday, September 8 through Sunday, September 10.
The Naturals will give the baseball to LHP Foster Griffin in Game 1 on Wednesday and RHP Josh Staumont in Game 2 on Thursday. Griffin went 4-0 with a 2.40 ERA against Tulsa while Staumont went 0-1 against the Drillers during the regular season.
