Fisher Cats to Host Women in Sports Panel

Event starts at 4 p.m. before Fisher Cats game vs. Reading on Tuesday, April 9

Manchester, N.H. - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays Double-A affiliate) are proud to host a Women in Sports Panel on Tuesday, April 9, before the team takes on the Reading Fightin' Phils (Philadelphia Phillies). 
The panel will begin at 4 p.m. in the Samuel Adams Brewhouse, and feature an esteemed group of New Hampshire's women sports professionals, including:
Jenna Raizes, General Manager of Wildcat Sports Properties (UNH-Learfield)
Karen Pinkos, SNHU Women's Basketball Head Coach
Lauren Poole, Toronto Blue Jays Minor League Affiliate Dietitian
Stephanie Fournier, Fisher Cats Director of Hospitality and Special Events
The panel will be followed by a networking mixer, which will lead into the Fisher Cats game at 6:35 p.m. Fans can attend the panel and the game for just $9 when using Promo Code: WIS19 at nhfishercats.com.

Jenna Raizes was hired as General Manager of Wildcat Sports Properties in April of 2018 following six years with the Fisher Cats, where she rose to the position of Deputy General Manager in 2017. Raizes was a softball pitcher at the University of Memphis and was inducted into the school's athletics hall of fame in 2014. Her son Ryder was born on Fisher Cats Opening Day that same year.
Karen Pinkos was named the eighth coach in the history of Southern New Hampshire University women's basketball on May 5, 2005. A 1988 graduate of the University of New Hampshire, Pinkos spent nine years as an assistant at Northeastern University prior to accepting the position at SNHU and owns over 16 years of Division I coaching experience. In her first 10 seasons, Pinkos, a native of Allenstown, N.H., led the Penmen to six Northeast-10 Tournament appearances, the first six in the history of the program.  
Lauren Poole is entering her second season with the Blue Jays, and second in New Hampshire as the Fisher Cats Team Dietitian. She grew up in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and earned a bachelor's degree in kinesiology from the University of North Texas while playing softball. She then studied at the University of Oklahoma and obtained a masters degree in dietetics.
Stepanie Fournier joined the Fisher Cats near the end of the 2012 season, and was promoted to her current position in the fall of 2013. She brings a wide variety of experience in the hospitality and entertainment industries ranging from restaurants, concert venues, banquets, and event sales, as well as leadership roles in operations, including six years with the Hard Rock Cafe and Hard Rock Live at Universal Orlando.

The Fisher Cats will open the 2019 season on Thursday, April 4 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium against the Binghamton Rumble Ponies (New York Mets).
