Tied 1-1 in the 10th, rain washes away series finale with no make-up date set

RICHMOND, VA - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) and Richmond Flying Squirrels (Giants) saw their game on Sunday suspended due to rain in the top of the 10th with the score tied 1-1.

The Fisher Cats were batting in the top of the 10th with a runner on second and one out when the skies opened up.
Richmond started the scoring in the fourth inning with a single, a walk, a sac bunt and an RBI ground out to take a 1-0 lead.
New Hampshire responded in their next trip to the dish. Gunnar Heidt began the fifth inning with a walk, went first to third on a Ryan Hissey single and came home after Bo Bichette put a ball in play to the shortstop.
Jon Harris went 6.2 innings for the 'Cats and allowed one run on five hits. Dusty Isaacs and Travis Bergen had combined on 2.1 frames of scoreless relief prior to the rain.
After an off day on Monday, the Fisher Cats return home for the first of three with the Altoona Curve on Tuesday, August 14. Coverage beings at 6:45 p.m. with the Fisher Cats Pregame Show and continues with first pitch at 7:05 p.m. on the WGIR Fisher Cats Radio Network.
