Despite the loss, New Hampshire remains firmly entrenched at the top of the Eastern Division standings as they quest for their fourth playoff berth in the franchise's 15 season history.

It was virtually all Richmond from there. The Flying Squirrels scored two in the sixth, two in the seventh and one in the eighth to lead 5-1, and despite a run in the ninth for the 'Cats New Hampshire fell 5-2.
Six of nine Fisher Cats started recorded a hit in the game.
