Rain Suspends 'Cats Game Thursday

Contest to be completed Friday as part of a doubleheader

READING, PA - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Blue Jays) and Reading Fightin Phils (Phillies) had their game suspended due to rain and wet grounds Thursday night at FirstEnergy Stadium.

Tonight's game - which was paused in the bottom of the first with two runners on and the R-Phils leading 1-0 - will resume Friday evening at 5:15 p.m. as a full nine inning contest. Friday's originally scheduled game will now be a seven-inning tilt to begin approximately 30 minutes after the completion of the suspended game.

The Fisher Cats return to Delta Dental Stadium Monday, July 22 to begin a series with the Harrisburg Senators (Nationals). Visit nhfishercats.com for tickets and more information.
