Trenton, N.J. - Cullen Large doubled home the only run of the game with in the top of the seventh inning as the New Hampshire Fisher Cats (Toronto Blue Jays) edged Trenton (New York Yankees) 1-0 in the opener of a three-game series on Monday at ARM & HAMMER Park.

Four New Hampshire pitchers combined on the shutout. Southpaw Zach Logue was activated from the injured list to make the start. In his first appearance since July 4, Logue worked two scoreless frames. He walked one and struck out three. Joey Murray (W, 2-2) followed Logue, tossing 5.2 innings (six strikeouts) before leaving with two outs in the eighth and two on base. Vinny Nittoli struck out Chris Gittens to end the inning. Dany Jimenez worked around a double in the ninth for his sixth save.
With the game scoreless in the seventh, Alberto Mineo drew a two-out walk. Large doubled to left, which proved to be the game-winning hit when Mineo scored. Greg Weissert (L, 1-1) took the loss for Trenton.
Notes: New Hampshire has won three consecutive road games by a 1-0 score. They finished the Binghamton series last week with back-to-back shutouts on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Fisher Cats pitching staff has allowed a total of eight runs in the last eight games.
Christian Williams had the only two-hit game for the Fisher Cats. Large extended his hit streak to eight games.
At Triple-A Buffalo, Fisher Cats alum T. J. Zeuch tossed a nine-inning no-hitter on Monday night in the Bisons 3-0 win over Rochester. Zeuch pitched for the 2018 Eastern League Champions, starting the opening game in both playoff rounds.
The series continues on Tuesday at ARM & HAMMER Park at 7:00 p.m. RHP Yennsy Diaz is scheduled to start for the Fisher Cats. The final homestand of the season starts on Thursday at 7:05 p.m. when the Fisher Cats host Binghamton (Mets) at Delta Dental Stadium. It will be Margaritaville Night and an Atlas Fireworks Show will follow the game.
