Before the calendar flips to 2019, we celebrate the holidays by looking back at 12 moments from the New Orleans Baby Cakes' 2018 season.

June 30

A loss to Oklahoma City in the first game of a June 30 doubleheader was the Baby Cakes' seventh defeat in nine contests, and things looked bleak after the Dodgers used home runs from Connor Joe, Angelo Mora and Andrew Toles to build a 5-0 lead in the top of the third inning in game two.
But the Baby Cakes battled back to score four times in the bottom of the third, keyed by Eric Campbell's three-run homer, before Austin Dean took over.

In the fifth, Dean roped a two-run triple into the gap in left-center to give New Orleans its first lead. An inning later, after the 'Cakes loaded the bases with three consecutive walks, Dean unloaded them by drilling a grand slam to finish with a career-high six RBI. He had previously driven in five runs in a game twice, first in 2014 with Greensboro and again in 2016 with Jacksonville.
The 11-5 victory salvaged a split of the doubleheader and marked the first time in nearly two years New Orleans rallied from a five-run deficit to win.
