Before the calendar flips to 2019, we celebrate the holidays by looking back at 12 moments from the New Orleans Baby Cakes' 2018 season.

May 3

The Baby Cakes recorded their third walk-off win during a four-game series against the Round Rock Express, a 1-0 triumph in 10 innings.
The teams were locked in a scoreless tie through nine innings, and Jumbo Diaz kept Round Rock at bay with a pair of strikeouts in the top of the 10th to strand the go-ahead run in scoring position.
With JT Riddle at second base to open the bottom half, Isaac Galloway laid down a flawless bunt along the third base line. Round Rock's Nick Noonan charged and threw wildly to first base, allowing Riddle to scamper home with the decisive run.
Overshadowed by the extra-inning heroics was seven innings of four-hit ball from 'Cakes starter Zac Gallen, who did not allow a run for the third consecutive home outing.

The Baby Cakes began the series with a 3-2 win in 10 innings on an Eric Campbell RBI single, then rallied for another walk-off win the following night on Jon Rodriguez's two-out, two-run single in the bottom of the ninth. It marked the first time since June 2-3, 2009 that New Orleans posted back-to-back walk-off victories.
