The Senators equaled their season-high in hits with 11 in an 8-1 win over the Portland Sea Dogs Friday night at FNB Field. Harrisburg tallied three runs in the first, one in the fourth and four more in the sixth to break the game open. Carson Teel started and went seven innings for his first Double-A win.

ON CAPITAL HILL

Carson Teel went seven innings, a season-high for a Senators starter, and allowed just four hits and a run while striking out three. He didn’t walk a batter. He threw 85 pitches, 60 for strikes.

Gabe Klobosits struck out the side in his only inning of work.

Pearson McMahan finished the game with a scoreless ninth inning.

WITH THE GAVEL

Corban Joseph had two hits and drove in two runs.

Jakson Reetz had two hits, both doubles, and scored a run.

Carlos Tocci and Aldrem Corredor both had two hits. Corredor also drove in a run.

Nick Banks drove in three with a two-run single and a sacrifice fly.

FILIBUSTERS

The teams have split the first four games of the series. The Senators went 5-for-13 with runners in scoring position while Portland didn’t have a runner in scoring position at bat in the game.
