Harrisburg rallied from a 4-1 deficit to tie the game in the eighth inning but lost 5-4 when Reading scored a run in the last of the ninth inning. The Senators rallied for three runs in the eighth inning on a walk, an infield single and back-to-back doubles, all with no outs, but couldn’t plate the go ahead run.

ON CAPITAL HILL

Tim Cate started and went seven innings. He struck out four and walked one while allowing a solo home run and three run home run. Even with allowing the home runs, he pitched well throwing 84 pitches, 56 for strikes.

Matt Cronin pitched a scoreless inning in relief.

Frankie Bartow took the loss allowing two hits in the ninth including the game winning single with two outs.

WITH THE GAVEL

KJ Harrison homered and doubled for the Senators continuing his recent hot hitting.

Jake Alu had two doubles and drove in the game tying runs in the eighth inning.

Gage Canning had two doubles, drove in a run and scored a run.

FILIBUSTERS

It was the third time this season the Sens have lost in walk-off fashion. The Sens were errorless for the 24 time in 56 games. Six of the Senators eight hits were extra base hits.
