The Harrisburg Senators rallied from a 3-1 deficit to defeat the Reading Fightin Phils 6-3 Sunday at First Energy Stadium. Trailing 3-1 into the seventh inning the Senators rallied for three in the seventh to take the lead then added two insurance runs in the eighth inning for the win.

ON CAPITAL HILL

Luis Reyes went six innings and allowed three runs on five hits, earning the win and tossing a quality start. He’s 5-2 in his past seven outings.

Bryan Dobzanski tossed a scoreless seventh inning pitching around a one-out single.

Matt Cronin allowed a one-out walk in the eighth but retired the final two batters he faced.

Frankie Bartow allowed a single to the first batter in the ninth but retired the final three batters including the last two via the strikeout. He earned his 10th save Sunday.

WITH THE GAVEL

Nick Banks went 2-for-3 with a bunt single and two-run home run. The dinger was his second in as many games.

Gilbert Lara hit a two-run double to tie the game in the seventh inning.

Rhett Wiseman drove in the go ahead run with a pinch-hit single in the seventh.

Alex Dunlap had two hits.

FILIBUSTERS

The Senators were errorless for the 26th time this season. With their ten hits the Sens raised their team batting average to a season-high .211.
