Harrisburg pitches in with relief effort

Senators to raffle off two free luxury suites
January 21, 2010
Harrisburg, Penn. -- In response to the terrible devastation caused by the recent earthquakes in Haiti, the Harrisburg Senators have organized a raffle through which the team will give away two free luxury suites to one game during the 2010 season. All proceeds from the raffle will go directly to UNICEF.

Any fan that makes a $10 donation will be entered in the raffle. Fans can enter as many times as they'd like and will have their name entered once for every $10 donated. Donations can be made online through the Senators website by logging onto senatorsbaseball.com, or in person at the team offices at Metro Bank Park. Online donations will be accepted until noon on February 10th. The drawing is the evening of February 10th at the Harrisburg Mall and will come at the conclusion of the event the Senators are holding that night.

Two winners will be drawn at the event, and each will receive a free luxury suite to one home game this season. Each Luxury Suite holds 20 people so each winner will be able to entertain 19 of their closest friends and family. The date of the game is to be determined. Winners do not need to be present at the drawing.

The U.S. Fund for UNICEF is absorbing all associated administrative costs so that 100% of every dollar you give to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF will support UNICEF's relief efforts for children in Haiti.

Metro Bank Park is currently undergoing renovations as part of phase II of a two-phase project announced in December 2008 by the City of Harrisburg and the Harrisburg Senators.
