Sumo Wrestling Comes to Roger Dean Stadium!
All this year at Roger Dean Stadium, you can see one of Japan's great traditions when you come to watch America's pastime. RDS and Teriyaki Experience have partnered to bring weekly sumo wrestling matches to the stadium, and the opportunity for fans to win big too.
Matches will take place at 12:30 p.m. during March 25th's game between the St. Louis Cardinals and New York Mets, and before the Florida Marlins face the Houston Astros on March 28th. Fans who attend the matches will have the opportunity to guess the winner, with correct predictions winning gift certificates at Teriyaki Experience.
Sumo matches are also scheduled to take place every Sunday throughout the minor league season at Roger Dean Stadium.
