Braves Game Comes to Coolray Field

"Braves All-Stars vs. Future Stars Game" to be held at the home of the Gwinnett Braves on April 3

Lawrenceville, GA - The Gwinnett Braves, in conjunction with the Atlanta Braves have announced the first-ever "Braves All-Stars vs. Futures Stars Game" at Coolray Field. The match-up, pitting the Braves' Major League club against the prospects of the system, takes place on Tuesday, April 3 at 7:05 PM.

For the first time at Coolray Field, fans will be able to watch established Braves stars along with recent Gwinnett Braves' alumni like Jason Heyward, Freddie Freeman and Craig Kimbrel as they take on the bright future stars of the Atlanta system. There will be events throughout the evening that will allow Season Ticket Holders and fans alike to meet Braves players, coaches, prospects and other VIP's.

Season Ticket Holders will be able to enter Coolray Field at 3:30 PM and will be greeted by Atlanta Braves alumni as they make their way through the gates. Events for Season Ticket Holders include an on-field "meet and greet" with Braves players and prospects and a dugout Q&A session with Braves' Executive Vice President and General Manager Frank Wren and other active Braves.

Gwinnett Braves Season Ticket Holders will participate in an Experiential Incentive Raffle to have a chance to win further perks. Of those who renew or purchase season tickets by February 2, two randomly-selected fans will be chosen as "Honorary Managers" and be on the field for the pre-game lineup card exchange at home plate. Of those who renew or purchase by February 17, one will be selected to throw out the game's Ceremonial First Pitch to catcher Brian McCann. Of those who renew or purchase by March 2, two will be chosen to announce the starting line-ups prior to the game.

Gates for the general public will open at 4:30 PM. Selected Braves' VIP's like Team President John Schuerholz and Field Manager Fredi Gonzalez will be on hand at the Home Plate Club and Super Suite for additional "meet and greet" opportunities with randomly-selected Season Ticket Holders.

Tickets will first be made available to Atlanta Braves and Gwinnett Braves Full Season Ticket Holders on Wednesday, January 25 at 12:00 PM. Those fans will be able to purchase seats for a $5 discount off the general public price. Fans with Partial Season Tickets will be able to purchase tickets at a $5 discount starting on Monday, February 6 at 10:00 AM.

For non-Season Ticket Holders, there will be three opportunities to purchase tickets. A special deal pairing tickets for G-Braves' Opening Day (or an Atlanta Braves home game to be determined) along with the "Braves All-Stars vs. Futures Stars Game" will go on sale on Saturday, February 18 at 10:00 AM. This package may only be purchased by phone, fax or in-person at the Coolray Field Box Office. Remaining seats will go on sale to the general public on Saturday, March 10 at 10:00 AM in conjunction with Gwinnett Braves' Ticketpalooza and 2012 Fan Fest. Should tickets still be available, they will be open to online sale beginning at 12:00 PM on March 10.
