Some have stopped in for just a few weeks and others have been here for years before moving on with their careers. During the offseason, check back to baysox.com to find out where some of those players are now.

Brandon Snyder was drafted by the Orioles in the first round of the 2005 First Year Player Draft as a catcher. He spent the first two seasons of his professional career as a catcher, advancing as high as Single-A Delmarva, before being moved to first base in 2007.

The Las Vegas native had a breakout season in 2007 after being moved from behind the plate. He hit .283 with 23 doubles and 58 RBI in 118 games with Delmarva. He was promoted to Advanced-A Frederick in 2008 and started the 2009 season in Bowie. In 58 games with the Baysox, Snyder hit .343 with 10 home runs and 45 RBI before moving up to Triple-A Norfolk to finish the season.

Snyder appeared in 98 games with the Tides in 2010 and was a September call-up at the end of the season. He made his Major League debut September 10, 2010 and appeared in 16 total games with the Orioles over the next two seasons while spending the rest of his time starting in Norfolk.

In January 2012, Snyder was traded to the Texas Rangers and he made the Major League team out of training camp. In 40 games with the Rangers, Snyder batted .277 with three home runs and nine RBI.
