CORPUS CHRISTI - Crunch time is here in the 2013 Texas League pennant races.
Your Corpus Christi Hooks secured a Division Series berth by capturing the TL South first-half title. They know they'll be facing I-37 rival San Antonio in the first round of the playoffs… in the wake of a three-game Whataburger Field series vs. the Missions Saturday through Monday.
The teams are tied for first place in the South Division second-half standings with seven games remaining in the regular season.
It all adds up to five intensely exciting nights at 734 East Port. You don't want to miss the best in affordable family entertainment!

Saturday, August 31, Missions @ Hooks, 6:05 p.m. (gates open 4:30)
•The first 1,750 fans receive a Hooks Burnt Orange Jersey from CITGO.
•National Anthem by Ally Coscetti.
•Grande Grand Prize Game afterwards; toss balls from the stands at $1 per try. Proceeds benefit the American Heart Association.

Sunday, September 1, Missions @ Hooks, 6:05 p.m. (gates open 4:30)
•It's AT&T Shirt Off the Back Night. Proceeds benefit the American Diabetes Association.
•The Universal Little League All-Stars, who recently represented Corpus Christi in the LLWS at Williamsport, Pa., will be honored in pregame ceremonies.
•It's also Mascot Night, so come out early and enjoy the mascot home run derby.
•NASCC color guard presents the flag.
•National Anthem by Katie McBride.
•Allstate Good Hands Award presented postgame to top Hooks defender.
•Cheniere presents Hooks Activity Books for all 1st-3rd graders; passed out upon exit.
•H-E-B Kids' Day; children run the bases postgame.
•Labor Day weekend fireworks from the Hooks.

•Game One of the 2013 South Division Series is presented by State Farm.

•Whataburger Family Day, buy a ticket for yourself and get your kid's ticket free!
