CURVE, Pa. - Residents of Curve, Pa. will all become honorary employees of Los Pollos Hermanos on June 26 when Giancarlo Esposito, best known for playing the role of Gus Fring from AMC's "Breaking Bad", makes his way to Altoona when the Curve play Binghamton. Esposito is among eight star athletes and celebrities making appearances at Peoples Natural Gas Field this season. His visit is being made possible, in part, by Atlantic Broadband.

Esposito, who was nominated for a Primetime Emmy in 2012 for playing "Gus", first made his appearance on Breaking Bad in 2009 in the episode "Mandala". He went on to become one of the most fearful villains on television over the next two years before he was eventually killed off by Walter White in the 2011 episode "Face Off".

"Breaking Bad was one of the most powerful, popular, and award-nominated shows on television," said Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "To be able to add an Emmy-nominated actor who played the top villain on the show to the list of stars coming to Peoples Natural Gas Field this season is tremendous. We think Curve fans will really enjoy meeting Giancarlo on this night and we're going to have a lot of fun with the Breaking Bad theme."

Breaking Bad, which aired from 2008-2013, was a winner at the 2014 Golden Globes for Best Television Series - Drama and Best Performance by an Actor in a TV series Drama. It also cleaned up at the 2013 Primetime Emmys, winning the award for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series and Outstanding Single-Camera Picture Editing for a Drama Series. All told the series was nominated a total of 132 times across various awards shows during its run and took home 62 wins in the process.

Esposito has been a busy man since Breaking Bad, starring in the current NBC show "Revolution", which airs on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. and is about a future United States of America that has no electrical power, as Tom Neville in 34 episodes since the show's inception in 2012. The Denmark-born Esposito also had a 10-episode run on ABC's "Once Upon a Time" as Sidney Glass/Magic Mirror/Genie from 2011-2013.

His film credits include a role in the 1995 film "The Usual Suspects" as FBI agent Jack Baer and 2001's "Ali" where he played Cassius Marcellus Clay, Sr., among numerous others.

He joins American Pickers' Danielle Colby (June 12), Sons of Anarchy's "Piney" (July 31) thanks to Miller Lite/City Beverage, Dance Moms' Holly Hatcher-Frazier (August 14) thanks to Cianna's Dance Boutique and Pittsburgh Penguins' Craig Adams (August 25) thanks to WTAJ-TV, on the 2014 Curve Celebrity Appearances Calendar. There are two more appearances that will be announced at a later date along with the name of the Steelers player who will appear on April 4 thanks to Holiday Inn Express & WTAJ-TV.
