"Thursday Cheers" at Pfitzner Stadium Now Doubles as "Ladies Night" During 2014 Season

Woodbridge, VA-In a move to show appreciation for the female demographic who support the Potomac Nationals, every Thursday night at Pfitzner Stadium during the 2014 season beginning with this evening's "Thursday Cheers" event will double as "Ladies Night."

The first 100 women age 21 and up with proof of valid I.D. who arrive at Pfitzner Stadium every Thursday will each receive one free general admission ticket good for that evening's Thursday Cheers game.

Ladies must pick up their ticket in-person at the Potomac Nationals Ticket Office on the day of the Thursday Cheers event beginning at 10:00am while tickets last.

Thursday Cheers sponsored by: Yellow Cab will feature $1 drink specials and theme nights including Man vs. Food on May 22nd, Hog Night presented by: Harley Davidson of Quantico on June 12th, Jimmy Buffett Night on July 17th, and Halfway to Saint Patrick's Day on August 14th.

"The P-Nats want to thank our female fan base in a fun way this summer and we know ladies in our community will come out in force to enjoy an evening of complimentary baseball and drink specials," said Potomac Nationals Ticket Director, Brett Adams.

The first Ladies Night in conjunction with Thursday Cheers is tonight as the Potomac Nationals host the Winston-Salem Dash (Chicago White Sox) for a 7:05pm first pitch.

Gates to The Pfitz will swing open at 6:00pm, and it will be ladies first into the ballpark every Thursday night.

The Potomac Nationals of the Carolina League play at Pfitzner Stadium in Woodbridge, Virginia, and are the Class-A Advanced affiliate of the Washington Nationals. The Potomac Nationals have claimed four Carolina League Championship titles (1982, 1989, 2008, and 2010) and eight division championships. Most recently, the P-Nats earned a 2013 Carolina League Northern Division pennant. P-Nats 2014 season tickets and mini plans are on sale.
