The Durham Bulls (34-30) shut out the Louisville Bats (23-40) 5-0 on Friday night to stretch their series lead to 3-1 in their six-game set at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

The pitching staff of Seth Blair, Joel Peguero, Ben Bowden, Chris Muller, Dusten Knight and Javy Guerra combined for the Durham’s fifth shutout win of the season, allowing three hits and ringing up nine strikeouts.
