Chiefs Announce 2020 Weekly Promos

PEORIA, IL - The Peoria Chiefs have announced their weekly promotions to complete the 2020 promotional schedule. Thirsty Thursday is back for another year, with $2 domestic 12-ounce drafts, $4 12-ounce craft drafts and $2 16-ounce Coca-Cola brand sodas. New this year is a Margarita Monday special and a $3 beer addition to Taco Tuesday.  

    In total, the Chiefs have a recurring weekly promotion slated for five of seven days. All Monday home games will feature $3 margaritas for Margarita Monday. These margaritas will contain vodka and your traditional margarita mix.  
    Taco Tuesday returns for a second consecutive season but also receives an added twist. In addition to the $2 tacos, which are available in hard or soft shell, 16-ounce domestic pints will be available for $3. Also back this year on Tuesday's are Thanks For Your Service Tuesday with $3 tickets for First Responders (EMT, Fire, Police) and Veterans with a limit of four tickets with a valid ID. As announced last week, Veterans can get $5 tickets to every Chiefs home game in 2020 when they purchase at the Box Office with a valid ID and Active Military always get in FREE with a valid ID.
     Weenie Wednesday is a new addition on the weekly promos. Fans can get hot dogs for just $1 while ice cream sandwiches are also available at $1. Thirsty Thursday returns with a slight change as can beer is replaced by drafts with $2 12-ounce domestic drafts and $4 12-ounce craft drafts. 
     PNC Kids Sunday returns as well, giving fans the opportunity to play catch on the field before the game and run the bases following the game with postgame autographs available on the concourse. The Sunday, July 26 game features post-game fireworks so run the bases will not be available that night.  
   "I think fans should be excited about the food options here at the ballpark," Director of Food and Beverage Cullen Munz said. "I'm ecstatic about Weenie Wednesday. I think we'll have the best dollar hot dog in the country." 
   The Chiefs also announced three new promotions for the 2020 season. This year, all college students with a valid college ID can get a $5 berm ticket for all 70 home games. Additionally, kids can now run bases after every non-fireworks home game. Finally, a couple Chiefs players will be made available down the first-base line to sign autographs before every home game except on Sundays when the entire team is available post-game.

TICKET INFORMATION 
      Season ticket packages and group tickets for the 2020 season are currently on sale by calling 309-680-4000. The 2020 season kicks off April 9 in Davenport, Iowa with the home opener against the Beloit Snappers set for Monday, April 13 at 6:35 p.m. Individual game tickets will go on sale March 16 online, at the Box Office or by calling 1-866-MYTICKET.
