LOWELL, MA - After falling by a final score of 3-1 the night before, the Lowell Spinners, proud affiliate of the 2018 World Champion Boston Red Sox, bounced back to say the least erupting for seven early runs and defeated the Connecticut Tigers, affiliate of the Detroit Tigers, by a final of 7-3.
With the win, the Spinners also increased their lead in the division to 3.5 games and lowered their magic number to clinch the division to 11 games with 13 left to play.
The Tigers (30-32) also were only able to muster two hits off Ramirez, who picked up his second win of the season Sunday night.
Lowell got on the board first in the bottom of the second inning. The Spinners erupted for four runs in the frame.
