Ems Announce 2019 Promotional Schedule

Fresh off winning both the Northwest League and Larry MacPhail Award in 2018, the Eugene Emeralds are back in action on June 14th for the 2019 season, and the promotional schedule is loaded with phenomenal theme nights, premium giveaways, and a ton of packed evenings for families to enjoy themselves.

Premium giveaways litter the entire promotional schedule, with 10 total giveaway nights scheduled this summer, a record amount in PK Park history. Opening Night on June 14th begins with a special Championship Ring Replica, based off the actual championship rings the team received for winning the Northwest League in 2018, courtesy of Bigfoot Beverages. July 4th weekend will not only feature fireworks on Independence Day, but also a Rally Sasquatch bobble-butt giveaway on July 5th, courtesy of Carl's Jr., and an Eloy Jiménez bobblehead on July 6th, courtesy of Pepsi. Other notable giveaways include a Lois Youngen bobblehead on August 2nd as part of a Women in Sports celebration, courtesy of Kendall Toyota, and a custom Black Panther bobblehead on Marvel SuperHero Night on August 31st, courtesy again of Kendall Toyota.

Once again this summer, the Emeralds will transform into Los Monarcas de Eugene for 6 total nights, including all Sunday home games and one other Saturday, August 3rd. The Monarcas' slate is highlighted by a Chespirito shirt giveaway on July 7th and a Pinata Bash on August 11th for the final regular season Monarcas game. 
Specialty jerseys have become a staple with the Emeralds, and this summer will include PRIDE Night on June 22nd, Bike to the Ballpark Night on June 23rd, featuring Our Children's Trust fighting for a sustainable climate with earth-colored jerseys, and Marvel SuperHero Night with custom Black Panther jerseys on August 31st. 
Fans can also expect some traditional theme nights taken to new heights in 2019, highlighted by an entire weekend of Star Wars nights, August 3rd and 4th, which includes custom BB-8 specialty Monarcas jerseys that fans will be able to bid on and purchase in an in-stadium silent auction. Local favorite theme nights returning from previous years include Grateful Dead Night on July 18th, Princess Night on July 31st, and Old School Hip Hop Night on August 15th.
