Suns and Generals Postponed

Rain Washes Away Contest Middle of Seventh, No Score

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The Jacksonville Suns (3-1) and Jackson Generals (1-3) game was postponed Monday afternoon at Bragan field in the middle of the seventh of a scoreless tie due to rain. The contest will not be made up, and fans in attendance can use their tickets for today's contest for any regular season game in 2015.

Austin Brice got the start for Jacksonville and lasted five innings while surrendering one hit on two walks and five strikeouts. Jackson starter Misael Siverio lasted five scoreless frames surrendering three hits no walks while striking out five.

The Suns were able to compile three hits all off of Generals starter Misael Siverio. Those hits included a trio of singles from Austin Nola, Terrance Dayleg, and Sharif Othman.

The Suns will welcome in the Montgomery Biscuits for the first of five from Bragan Field Wednesday night with first pitch set for 7:05 p.m. ET. The Suns will send right-hander Trevor Williams (0-0,0.00 ERA) to the mound to be opposed by righty Jamie Shultz (0-0, 3.86).
