Meet the character from Frozen on May 3

Princesses Elsa, Anna and snowman Olaf making an appearance
April 20, 2015

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (April 21, 2015) - Do you want to meet a snowman? C'mon let's go and play.

The Kannapolis Intimidators have a "cool" promotion planned for Sunday, May 3, and we can't hold it back anymore. Children can meet the characters from Frozen when Princess Elsa, Princess Anna, and their snowy sidekick Olaf come to the ballpark for Kid's Day Sunday, presented by Cornerstone Church. Gates open at 4 p.m., and first pitch is at 5:05 p.m. They say Love Is an Open Door and so are our gates when you buy a ticket for as little as $5.00. The characters from Frozen, courtesy of Imagination Clubhouse, will be available for pictures and autographs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

If you haven't been to a game since last season, come out to the ballpark For the First Time in Forever to see the Kannapolis Intimidators, Class A Affiliate of the Chicago White Sox, take on the Rome Braves, affiliate of the Atlanta Braves. Sunday games feature pre-game player autographs and post-game kids run the bases.

Join the Intimidators for our first Kid's Day Sunday character appearance of the season, and we may actually see what happens to a snowman in summer. The Intimidators don't want fans to miss this game, because once it's over: we're never going back - the past is in the past.

The Intimidators are currently in the middle of their first home stand of the 2015 season with the next game tonight at 5:05 p.m. when Kannapolis hosts a doubleheader against the West Virginia Power. Gates open at 4:30 p.m., and one ticket is good for admission to both games. Tickets are available by calling the F&M Bank Box Office at (704) 932-3267 or by visiting the team website IntimidatorsBaseball.com.
