LOWELL, MASS. - The Lowell Spinners, Class-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, are partnering with Pete Frates and the Pete Frates #3 Fund on a special ALS Awareness Night featuring Pete Frates Bobble Ice Bucket giveaways as part of the team's "Inspiration Night" Sunday, July 26 at LeLacheur Park.

The Bobbling Ice Bucket highlights the night as the first 1,000 fans will receive this special giveaway featuring Frates holding a bobbling ice bucket above his head to commemorate his role in the phenomenon that was last summer's number one news story. Get Tickets Now

"We are honored to be able to host this special night and honor both Pete and his family, who have been tireless in their support of creating awareness for ALS and working toward a cure," said Spinners President and General Manager Tim Bawmann. "We hope this is a night to remember for the family, but also a night that can raise awareness and dollars to support the cause."

"By having an additional component with the online fundraising, we are able to offer fans who want to support the event but cannot attend a chance to do so," said Bawmann.

As part of the "Inspiration Night" theme for the night, in addition to the Frates family, the Spinners will also have a number of inspirational guests on hand to be honored throughout the night.

"Pete and his family have really been inspiring as he continues to fight this terrible disease," said Bawmann. "Their approach to life is something that everyone should hope to achieve and we are honored they have partnered with us for this incredible event."
