Celebrate America all week long with the Flying Squirrels. Fireworks, history and more fill The Diamond as the Squirrels celebrate the good ol' US of A. Check out what is in store for All-American Week: 

Saturday, July 4th SOLD OUT: Independence Day Celebration at The Diamond presented by United Healthcare, Fas Mart, Food Lion & The Virginia Putative Father Registry. This Richmond tradition will feature a Superblast Extravaganza of fireworks and funn. This event will sell out! Gates open 4:30 PM. Make sure to get your tickets here. Sunday, July 5th - We love America so much we are celebrating all week long. A Double Feature Fireworks Show will follow this Sunday night contest, presented by United Healthcare, Fas Mart, Food Lion & The Virginia Putative Father Registry. This game will also be broadcasted live across the country on American Sports Network. Fans are encouraged to wear red to "Red Out" The Diamond. Monday, July 6th - Revolutionary Richmond, Liberty or Death Night. Enjoy a live re-creation of Patrick Henry's famous "Give Me Liberty, or Give Me Death" speech before the game with the St. John's Church Foundation. Gates open at 6:00 PM. Tuesday, July 7th - Hunter Strickland Bobblehead (1st 2,000 fans all ages) presented by NBC 12. Former Squirrels closer and current Giants reliever, Hunter Strickland, will have his patriotic and iconic July 4th entrance from The Diamond bullpen memorialized in bobblehead form. Wednesday, July 8th - Doug E. Fresh - "The World's Greatest Entertainer and Human Beatbox" will make a special celebrity appearance at The Diamond. Mr. Fresh will sign autographs for free on the concourse from 7:35-8:35. Additionally, he will throw out a first pitch, judge a "dance off" and teach fans how to do the iconic Dougie. dance. Thursday, July 9th - Fittingly, we wrap up All-American Week with another dose of pure red-blooded fireworks presented by Your Local Ford Dealers.
